Limfjordsporter

Nice surprise from Danish Thisted Bryghus, Limfjord Porter! It has a distinct aroma of dark coffee, roasted malt and burned wood. The taste confirms the aroma - coffee, roasted malt, some dark chocolate and smoke! The ABV is as much as 7.9% but it's far from obvious, I wouldn't guess it possessed more than maybe 5%. Great bottle, definitely worth a try!

Smashed Blueberry

I love blueberry and I love porter/stout... the only thing that's missing here is blueberry pie! Damn, this one is really good! The blueberry has distinct presence in both taste and aroma though it's still very well balanced with a rich malty body. It holds a 9% ABV which isn't too much at all in this one - I had high expectations and I'm not disappointed, it's bloody perfect! Well done Shipyard Brewing Co, I love this one!
